Deadline Soon

     It has been a very busy month for the Salman Campaign.  Putting Out signs and having petitions signed.  We believe we have met the signature quota but are getting more just in case.  We have sent them into the pre-check and are sending others in the next day or two.  I want to thank all the volunteers who took time out of their busy schedules to go out and promote. 
     It will be a very good race and the City has some very fine candidates to choose from.  Each one of us have a different reason for running.  Each of us have some form of pride in our city and a wanting to be involved.  I can only pray that whomever this City chooses it is someone who loves God and fights for families. 
     As a candidate I do not want to use the words CITY or NEIGHBORHOODS or SUCH.  These are words that so many use and they seem so corporate and so cold.  I want to use Families, persons, children, educations and the small business owner.  I do not want to fight for our City, I want to fight for the people of our District.  I want the people of our City to be helped.  It is the people that count.  The Police, Fire Fighters, Teachers, Workers and the Average everyday Joe.  I am tired of seeing our City funding projects that cost Millions of dollars that do not benefit anyone.  I am tired of seeing the Hispanic and Foreign population scared and persecuted into exile.  I want to fight for the people.  This can only be done if people like you help me in this fight.  Together we can make a difference.  I will keep you all updated on the results next week.  Until then Spread the Word!!!  VOTE MICHAEL SALMAN in Augist 2011

Equality Arizona is hosting the First Candidate Forum for Mayor and City Council.  Those running for Mayor and City Council have been invited to attend.  While many of my opponnents are going, I have declined the Invitation.  Why?  What is Equality Arizona?

Equality Arizona is working on the state and local levels to secure, protect and defend the rights and welfare of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in Arizona. We advocate for several issues at the Legislature and in communities across the state. Some of those issues include:
